Your mission
The role will sit at the intersection of corporate sustainability strategy, natural capital markets, and landscape restoration, helping organisations understand how engagement with high-quality natural capital projects can support priorities such as climate transition, biodiversity commitments, water stewardship, and operational/asset risk management.
Zora has established a strong foundation through its portfolio of live restoration projects, advanced spatial analytics capability, and growing presence across woodland, peatland, biodiversity, and water-related interventions. This role will be instrumental in translating that capability into meaningful corporate partnerships, positioning Zora as a trusted partner for organisations seeking credible, science-based approaches to nature restoration.
Your profile
Corporate Strategy & Market Development
Define and implement Zora’s corporate engagement strategy for nature restoration and natural capital partnerships. Identify priority sectors where climate, biodiversity, water, or supply-chain risks create strong alignment with landscape restoration. Position Zora as a strategic partner capable of translating ecological science and analytics into credible nature-based solutions.
Corporate Partnerships & Network Development
Build and manage senior relationships with corporate sustainability leaders, NGOs, advisory firms, and policy stakeholders across the UK nature ecosystem. Develop strategic engagements that connect corporate sustainability priorities with Zora’s restoration projects and capabilities.
Strategic Engagement & Partnership Structuring
Identify opportunities for corporates to engage with Zora’s project portfolio through long-term partnerships, pilots, and investment in restoration initiatives. Work with internal teams to translate corporate interest into structured collaborations aligned with credible ecological outcomes.
Thought Leadership & Representation
Represent Zora across industry forums, partnerships, and policy discussions related to natural capital and corporate engagement in nature. Translate Zora’s analytics and project capabilities into clear narratives relevant to corporate sustainability strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Zora’s commercial, science, analytics, and project teams to align corporate engagement with project development priorities. Support the development of high-quality pitch materials, partnership proposals, and strategic communications.
Your Profile
Experience & Background- Proven experience engaging corporates, NGOs or institutional stakeholders on sustainability, climate, biodiversity, or natural capital strategies.
- Strong understanding of the UK natural capital and nature restoration landscape across a broad range of NbS intervention types and ecosystems service outcomes.
- Familiarity with the evolving regulatory and policy frameworks shaping nature markets in the UK, including biodiversity net gain, carbon standards, and water stewardship initiatives.
- Experience working across complex stakeholder environments involving corporates, NGOs, advisors, regulators, and land managers.
- Understanding of how corporates assess environmental risks and sustainability priorities, including climate transition, supply-chain exposure, water risk, and biodiversity commitments.
- Experience developing strategic partnerships or collaborative initiatives involving multiple stakeholders across the nature and sustainability ecosystem.
- Experience producing high-quality strategic materials, including pitch decks, briefing documents, and partnership proposals for senior audiences.

- Strong analytical and financial literacy, with the ability to connect ecological outcomes with corporate sustainability drivers.
- Ability to translate complex technical and environmental topics into clear, compelling narratives for corporate audiences.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capability.
- Strong presentation andverbal and written skills, including the ability to develop high-quality pitch materials.
- Ability to operate effectively across technical, scientific, and commercial teams.
- Entrepreneurial, mission-driven, and comfortable operating in a fast-growing organisation.
Education
Degree in environmental science, economics, sustainability, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
